Job Location: Lillo Engineering is based in Scotts Valley, CA but has staff located in MI and throughout CA, including in and around Los Angeles. While this is a remote position, the ideal candidate is located near Scotts Valley (e.g. Santa Cruz County, or the south Bay Area, CA) or Los Angeles in order to be able to occasionally help with local tasks. However, exceptional candidates located throughout CA will be considered.
Necessary Job Qualifications and Skills:

· Prior experience in an administrative or support role.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to respond to urgent requests and communicate professionally in a timely manner.

· Strong calendar and scheduling management skills.
· Interest and willingness to learn new skills and tools.
· Ability to work in a collaborative environment with a variety of different types of people and experts.

Preferred Job Qualifications and Skills:
· Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
· Experience in engineering, legal, technical consulting, automotive, or another professional services environment.
· Experience as an administrative and/or research assistant at a technical consulting or law firm.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
· Valid driver’s license.
General Responsibilities:
· Project intake and scheduling.
· Serve as a point of contact for clients providing professional, timely and courteous communication and scheduling support.
· Assisting the internal team with the scheduling and re-scheduling of appointments.
· Updating client and project information databases.
· Answering phones, emails, and routing calls or messages to team members.
· Updating calendars, scheduling meetings and communicating clearly and professionally with other staff and a variety of clients.
· Administrative tasks such as placing orders, copying documents, checking expense receipts, etc.
· Occasionally assisting with organizing in person meetings and events, acquiring parts, etc.
Compensation and Benefits:
· About $30-35/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
