American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a diagnostic radiology department in Charlotte, NC, requiring ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience across ED, fluoroscopy, OR, and portable imaging.

Acute care community hospital setting with 244 licensed beds, no trauma designation, and TJC Stroke accreditation

Radiology department offering X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine with Radiology Nursing support

Serves ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations

Department averages approximately 120 studies per day, with higher volume on weekdays

Inpatient census typically runs at full capacity (approximately 224 patients)

Imaging performed in the ED, fluoroscopy suite, OR (C-arm, O-arm, G-arm), and at bedside via portables
-
Equipment includes Philips Diagnost R/F, Intelli C R/F, Shimadzu RadSpeed (ED), Shimadzu MD8 and Konica mKDR Xpress portables, GE OEC Elite C-arms and Mini C Digital Flat Panel, Medtronic O-arm, and Globus G-arm

EMR: Epic with Epic Radiant RIS; PACS: Philips iSite

8-hour day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 40 hours per week

On-call required up to 2 shifts per month as needed

No floating required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology

ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required

Current BLS certification required
-
Active state license required, if applicable

Experience in fluoroscopy, OR imaging, portable imaging, and ED workflow required

Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred

Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Perform diagnostic imaging studies across a high-volume department including ED, fluoroscopy, OR, and portable exams

Guest Services and Transport staff support patient movement for inpatient and observation patients
-
Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) and up to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed

Travelers are expected to cover approximately 75% of holidays

RTO is subject to manager approval
