The HR Generalist is a sole-practitioner role leading the full scope of Kaiser Studio's human resource's function, including employee relations, compliance, compensation administration, HRIS administration, and organizational development. This is a hands-on, strategic partner role to the CEO and senior leadership team. The HR Generalist role is a part-time position (averages 25 hours per week, varying with seasonal volume).

Direct the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, including development, documentation, and exit processes

Serve as subject matter expert on the company HRIS (UKG Ready), with ownership of system configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and employee training

Administer compensation programs, including the level and pay grade structure

Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Develop and maintain HR policies, the employee handbook, and standard operating procedures

Administer the annual performance review and goal-setting process

Partner with department managers on workforce planning and succession planning

Manage benefits administration and open enrollment

Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data integrity

Develop and facilitate employee training and professional development programs
