Ice Cream Server / Cashier
Scoop Happy is looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking team member to join our ice cream shop in Skippack!
As an Ice Cream Server/Cashier, you’ll help create a welcoming experience for our customers while preparing and serving ice cream desserts. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, positive, responsible, respectful, works well with others, and good at following direction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly customer service
- Take customer orders and operate the cash register/POS system
- Scoop and serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, and other menu items
- Keep the serving area, counters, equipment, and dining area clean and organized
- Restock supplies as needed
- Wash dishes
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work together with other team members during busy periods
- Help with opening and/or closing duties as scheduled
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to clean and help wherever needed
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Previous food service or cashier experience is helpful, but not required — we are happy to train the right person
Availability:
We are especially looking for someone with reliable availability and who can continue working beyond just the summer season. Weekend availability is important.
