Position Summary
As a Bilingual Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and patients. You will help create a positive experience by providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, answering questions, processing payments, and supporting the veterinary team.
The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, has excellent communication skills, and can remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Veterinary experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients with professionalism and compassion
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate medical records
- Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish
- Confirm appointments and follow up with clients as needed
- Process payments and explain treatment estimates
- Assist with client education regarding preventive care and hospital policies
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Support doctors and technicians with administrative tasks
- Help ensure a positive and efficient client experience from check-in to check-out
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish (speaking and writing)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Preferred
- Previous veterinary reception experience
- Experience with AVImark veterinary software
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology
- Experience in medical, dental, or customer service settings
