Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment in all areas of the home.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively to clean floors, surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor areas.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or large items while maintaining proper safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Maintain a high level of organization and time management to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to janitorial and custodial work to prevent accidents or injuries.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards is advantageous.
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, or floor buffers is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents and supplies to ensure safe handling and effective results.
- Outdoor work experience is beneficial for maintaining exterior areas when needed.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple cleaning tasks in a busy environment.
