- Swap and install appliances, and handle basic appliance troubleshooting
- Get vacant units move-in ready: punch-list repairs, touch-ups, and prep
- Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Keep lawns and property exteriors tidy on vacant homes as needed
- Track your work and pick up job materials on a LadderUp purchase authorization
What we're looking for
- Solid general handyman skills across multiple trades (no license required)
- Reliable and self-directed, able to manage your own work and schedule
- Your own hand and power tools
- A reliable vehicle to travel between our local properties
- Valid driver's license and clean, safe driving habits
- Comfortable communicating with residents in a courteous, respectful way
- Able to lift and carry materials
Contractor requirements
- Operates as an independent contractor (LLC or registered business preferred)
- Carries your own general liability insurance (preferred)
- Available to invoice LadderUp for completed work
- Free to work for other clients
