Job Summary
The Catholic Religious Education Coordinator plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing educational programs that align with our mission. This position requires a passionate individual who can lead initiatives, communicate effectively, and foster an environment of learning and support. The ideal candidate will have experience in mentoring and event planning, as well as a background in Christian counseling or social work, to provide holistic education and support to children and families.
Duties
- Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs tailored to the needs of children and families.
- Lead workshops and training sessions for staff and volunteers to enhance their educational skills.
- Collaborate with community organizations to promote educational initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate events that engage the community and raise awareness about our programs.
- Provide mentoring support to staff, volunteers, and participants in educational activities.
- Utilize Christian counseling principles to guide educational approaches and support services.
- Maintain accurate records of program participation and outcomes for continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Experience working with children in an educational or social work setting is highly desirable.
- Background in hospice care or bereavement support is a plus, providing valuable insight into sensitive educational topics.
- Strong event planning skills to successfully organize community engagement activities.
- A commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment through mentoring and guidance.
This role is Part Time and is a 1099 Contractor position. It is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact through education while embodying compassion and understanding in their approach.
