Hotel Ballard/Ballard Inn is now looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Technician for our facility.
This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for handling building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, the fulfillment of assigned work orders, and unforeseen maintenance in a timely fashion.
Position Responsibilities:
- Preforming site walks to assess the safety and cleanliness of the grounds
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and appliance repairs
- Inspect and repair on-site mechanical systems, building exterior, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Background:
- 1+ Years' experience in hands on facility maintenance or building trades
- Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office products including Outlook, or ability to learn new preventative maintenance and job scheduling programs)
- Working knowledge of building and mechanical systems
- Knowledge and experience working with a variety of power and hand tools.
- Basic understanding of carpentry, cabinetry, painting, and drywall
- Team player with the ability to work effectively and diplomatically with site personnel and supervisors in fast-paced work environments.
- The ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
Requirements:
- WA State Driver's license.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to Weekends & on-call

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
