Tasting Room Busser - POSITION SUMMARY
Tasting Room Bussers support the overall guest experience at Slater Run Vineyards by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and flow of service throughout the Tasting Room and Grounds. Bussers assist Tasting Room Associates by clearing and resetting tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring all guest-facing areas remain clean and welcoming. This role is essential in supporting efficient service and creating a positive environment for guests.
Compensation: $14 + Tips (avg. of $20 / hour)
Must be Available to work weekends in the Fall. Friday afternoon availability a plus.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bus and reset tables promptly upon guest departure to maintain smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, floors, and surrounding guest spaces
- Polish glassware and ensure adequate stock is available for service
- Assist with stocking wines, retail items, napkins, utensils, and other service supplies
- Stock / prepare food items for sale
- Clear trash and recycling; maintain cleanliness of bathrooms and common areas
- Support Tasting Room Associates and bartenders during service as needed
- Deliver water, glassware, and food items to tables when requested
- Assist with opening and closing duties as directed by the manager on duty
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the Tasting Room and Grounds at all times
- Support events and high-volume service periods with setup, breakdown, and bussing
- Complete additional tasks and duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS & STARTING COMPENSATION
- ·Hospitality, restaurant, or winery experience a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Employee may be required to sit, stoop, bend, reach and lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
- Employee must be able to stand for 8-hour shifts.
- Weekend shifts required; holiday shifts possible.
Compensation: $14 + Tips (avg. of $20 / hour)
Pay: $14.00 per hour
