Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and dining area
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of products
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Assist with food service duties such as preparing sandwiches, pastries, and other menu items
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow
Skills:
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience using a POS system, preferably Aloha POS
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues
- Basic understanding of retail math for cash handling and inventory management
