Overview
Snead Eye Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Front Office Operations Supervisor to oversee front office operations across our growing multi-site ophthalmology practice throughout Southwest Florida.
This leadership position is responsible for supporting daily patient access operations, front office workflow efficiency, staffing coordination, employee development, and operational consistency across our Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, and Naples locations.

Travel between clinic locations may be required based on operational and staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily front office operations across multiple clinic locations.
- Lead, coach, and develop Patient Access Representatives and Front Office staff.
- Monitor scheduling, registration, insurance verification, patient check-in, and check-out processes.
- Assist with staffing schedules, PTO requests, and daily coverage needs.
- Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Conduct performance coaching and assist with employee development.
- Partner with clinic leadership to improve workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Resolve patient concerns professionally while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA regulations, and front office procedures.
- Monitor productivity, attendance, and operational performance across assigned locations.
- Collaborate with billing, clinical staff, and leadership to improve communication and operational consistency.
- Travel between Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, and Naples locations as operational needs require.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of healthcare front office leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Previous experience supervising employees within a multi-provider medical practice preferred.
- Ophthalmology experience preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and medical office operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ModMed or similar electronic medical record systems preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between clinic locations.
