The Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and vendors.
Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Front Desk Associate is responsible
for the day-to-day administrative operations of the property office, including resident
relations, rent collection, application processing, and coordination of resident services.
This position operates within and contributes to an environment in compliance with Fair

Responsibilities:
- Answer phones with professional etiquette and respond to resident and
prospective resident inquiries
- Greet all residents, visitors, vendors, and contractors in a professional and
courteous manner
- Process rental applications, ensuring forms are complete and time-stamped
- Accept all resident interim changes; gather and request all required verifications
and initiate relevant forms
- Schedule all appointments for applications, interim certifications, and annual
re-certifications
- Collect rent and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company
standards
- Enter and track resident maintenance work orders; ensure timely completion
- Maintain key box log and ensure accountability for all keys
- Maintain organized filing systems for resident files, applications, and property
records
- Coordinate financial planning and job assistance services for residents, including
computer classes and job fair information
- Facilitate access to health services, including housekeeping classes, medical
referrals, and clinic information for residents
- Support after school programs and other resident services programs
- Attend all company-provided training and meetings
- Other skills required: confidentiality, reliability, punctuality, customer service,
decision-making, patience, respect, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Other responsibilities as assigned/needed
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required
- Work Experience: At least 1 year of prior property management or
administrative office experience (beneficial)
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license (required), COS (beneficial), TCS
(beneficial)
- Computer literacy required, Onesite Property Management Software beneficial
but not required, and Microsoft Outlook/Excel/Word experience required.
Strong Customer Service and communication skills required
Relationships:
Reports to: Property Manager and/or Regional Manager
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in an office environment with regular interaction with
residents, prospects, and vendors. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working
on a computer are required. It may be necessary to lift weights up to 25 pounds. The
position requires professional presentation and demeanor at all times.
