Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support classroom activities across various age groups, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for every child. Your flexibility and enthusiasm will help maintain a positive learning environment and uphold our commitment to early childhood education excellence.
Duties
- Assist in implementing curriculum development tailored to different age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers
- Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to promote a safe and respectful environment
- Collaborate with lead teachers on lesson planning, literacy education, and early intervention activities
- Engage with children during play, learning, and physical education activities to foster development in areas such as math, language, and social skills
- Help maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and child welfare standards in accordance with childcare regulations
- Provide support during standardized testing or assessments to monitor progress and identify individual needs
- Adapt to various classroom settings as needed, ensuring continuity of care and education across different age groups
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Experience working with children in early childhood education or daycare settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques
- Ability to manage behavior positively while maintaining classroom discipline
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and Montessori or preschool methodologies
- Classroom management skills that promote an engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Experience with toddler care, literacy education, physical education, and standardized testing procedures
- Understanding of child welfare practices and daycare regulations
- Previous classroom experience in private schools or daycare centers is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to child development excellence
Pay: $13.00 - $13.25 per hour
