About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Door Installer Helper to join our team. In this role, you’ll assist experienced installers with the setup, installation, and maintenance of commercial doors, entry doors, gates, and docks.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn the trade.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of commercial doors, entry doors, gates, and docks
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites
- Help with measuring, cutting, drilling, and fitting doors and frames
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow instructions from lead installer
- Load/unload materials and assist with transporting items
- Adhere to safety procedures and company policies
- Perform general labor tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic hand and power tool experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or lifts
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prior construction or door installation experience is a plus (but not required)
