Inventory AssociateJob Summary
Responsible for maintaining accurate, organized, and compliant inventory operations while supporting the day-to-day needs of the retail store. This includes receiving and verifying product shipments, performing inventory counts and audits, picking and fulfilling customer orders, tracking inventory movement, monitoring expiration dates, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with company policies and Massachusetts cannabis regulations. The Inventory Associate also supports store operations by organizing inventory, managing quarantined and waste products, maintaining compliance documentation, restocking sales floor inventory, and assisting guests when needed. Above all, the Inventory Associate ensures inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while supporting New Día's commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and accurately process incoming product shipments.
- Maintain organized inventory storage areas, vaults, and back-of-house workspaces.
- Complete daily, monthly, and annual inventory counts and audits.
- Identify, document, and report inventory discrepancies for investigation.
- Pick and prepare products for online, delivery, and in-store kiosk orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within all required systems and compliance platforms.
- Monitor product expiration dates and communicate aging inventory concerns.
- Maintain and track quarantined inventory and cannabis waste in accordance with company procedures.
- Accurately input product information, testing data, and product attributes into customer-facing systems.
- File and maintain required compliance documentation and inventory records.
- Restock sales floor inventory and support merchandising efforts.
- Assist guests and support retail operations when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment.
- Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the Massachusetts cannabis industry.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work at a "quick, not rushed" pace while maintaining accuracy.
- Comfortable handling repetitive tasks and maintaining focus for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn inventory management systems.
- Previous inventory, warehouse, retail, or cannabis industry experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory throughout the facility.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
