- Travel Assignment Only: Local candidates are not accepted (50 Mile radius)
Compensation Package
- Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $2,959
- Taxable Base Rate: $42.82/hour
- Overtime Rate: $64.24/hour
- Non-Taxable Lodging Per Diem: $833/week
- Non-Taxable Meals & Incidentals Per Diem: $413/week
CVOR RN Responsibilities
As a Travel CVOR Nurse, you will assist with a wide variety of cardiac and vascular procedures, including:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Heart Valve Procedures
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
- Carotid Surgeries
- Femoral-Popliteal Bypass Procedures
- Additional Complex Vascular Cases
The team also supports:
- TCAR Procedures
- EVAR Procedures
- TVAR Procedures
- Cath Lab Vascular Surgery Cases
Facility Highlights
- Two dedicated CVOR suites, including a hybrid operating room for TAVR procedures
- Approximately 3-4 open heart surgeries per week
- Busy and growing vascular surgery program
- Opportunity to float to the Main OR when cardiac or vascular cases are not scheduled
- Accommodations available for on-call staff if needed
Call Requirements
- 10-15 call shifts during a 6-week period
- 30-minute response time required
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. OH or COMPACT
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac surgical experience
- At least 1-2 years of general nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- Dysrhythmia Exam Required (study guide provided)
