BUTLER is looking for an experienced KITCHEN HAND/DISHWASHER to join our team of professionals at our DUMBO, Brooklyn location. www.butler-nyc.com
Job Description:
-Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
-Load and unload dishwashing machines
-Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
-Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
-Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents)
-Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
-Remove garbage regularly
-Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
-Sanitize restrooms
Qualification Requirements:
-Minimum 2 years’ experience as Dishwasher in a fast-pace cafe/restaurant
-Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
-Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
-Time management skills
-Sociable and friendly to staff and guests. We believe personality is your biggest asset.
-Maintain a clean, sanitary & well-organized dish area at all times.
-Must be available to work on early/opening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
