What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Guest Experience: Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive.
- Service Excellence: Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems.
- Product Knowledge: Provide detailed menu descriptions and recommend items to guests, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance the experience and sales.
- Table Management: Ensure timely delivery of orders, check in with guests to address needs, and promptly bus tables to maintain a pristine dining area.
- Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and beautiful presentation.
- Operational Safety: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and handle cash/payment transactions with high accuracy.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: 2+ years of server experience in a fine dining environment is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems (Toast) and basic math for managing tabs.
- Soft Skills: Strong multitasking abilities in a high-volume environment and a deep focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge: Understanding of food handling and sanitation practices is essential.
- Age: Must be 21+ years of age.
