Overview

Duties
- Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and vision inspection systems.
- Utilize quality management systems aligned with ISO audit requirements, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and FDA regulations to document inspection results accurately.
- Execute quality audits and participate in root cause analysis to identify deviations from quality standards in production processes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions and improve quality systems continuously.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, measurements, and audit findings while ensuring compliance with regulatory/legal standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and GMP requirements related to production quality systems.
- Hands-on experience operating measurement instruments.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures for measuring instruments and conducting quality audits.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
- Understanding of regulatory standards including FDA regulations pertinent to manufacturing environments.
- Basic math skills for data collection, analysis, and interpretation of measurement results.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong analytical skills to identify deviations from quality standards promptly.
