Position: Excavation Operator and Laborer
We are seeking a hardworking and self-motivated Excavation Operator and Laborer to join our Excavation team. You will play a key role in all phases of new home and light commercial construction and development, helping us uphold our reputation for excellence in the West Pointe and Circle H communities and beyond.

Location:
Our office is conveniently located on Macarthur Drive, just off Butler Creek Road, with easy access to the airport and a short commute from Missoula and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Excavation Operator and Laborer Duties:
- Perform a wide variety of tasks across all phases of single-family home and light commercial development and construction.
- Operate heavy equipment, including skid steers, loaders and excavators, as well as pull trailers and transport materials.
- Maintain site cleanliness and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist the Site Foreman with daily tasks to keep projects on track.
General Responsibilities:
- Support wherever needed to ensure project success.
- Complete special assignments from the Foreman and/or Project Manager.
- Uphold safety and risk management practices according to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform work in compliance with local building codes and permitting requirements.
- Manage work orders using BuilderTrend and assist with minor repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and progress.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean, safe, and operational condition.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Reliable Transportation: Required for daily tasks.
- Equipment Handling Skills: Ability to haul/tow equipment, trailers, and materials using company vehicles.
- Clean Driving Record: Must meet the requirements to be added to the company’s vehicle insurance policy.
- Team-Oriented Attitude: Willingness to learn, take direction, and support the team to keep projects on schedule.
