Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. Responsibilities
- Greet the parents as they arrive to pick up and drop off their infants
- Help the Lead Teacher plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate the children's physical, emotional, and intellectual growth
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for infants
- Assist with the classroom management and behavior management.
- Provide personal aide and care as necessary to students, such as help with hygiene, eating and changing diapers
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom
- The ability to problem solve, reflect, learn, grow, & challenge yourself is a must.
- Open Parent engagement via Brightwheel
- Serve as a substitute teacher either Lead Teacher or Classroom Aide when one of them is absent
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Maintain the center’s policies and procedures
- Must follow NYS OCFS Regulations
- To keep up with OCFS required training
- Keeping up with attendance records, health checks, student progress note, and Brightwheel

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
