HR GENERALIST
Location: Suwanee, Georgia
Job Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Hybrid – Three days onsite and two days remote
Salary Range: $70,000–$75,000 annually

Position Summary
Staci Americas is seeking an experienced, bilingual HR Generalist to support employees and operations at our Suwanee, Georgia, facility. This position provides hands-on HR support across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, compliance, training, performance management, and HRIS administration.
The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment. This role requires strong follow-through, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers at the assigned location.
- Provide guidance regarding company policies, attendance, performance, workplace conduct, and employee relations.
- Conduct workplace investigations and prepare accurate documentation, findings, and recommendations.
- Support corrective actions, performance improvement plans, development plans, and employment separations.
- Manage recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation, background checks, I-9 completion, and E-Verify processing.
- Maintain accurate employee information and personnel records in ADP Workforce Now or another HRIS.
- Process employee changes, transfers, promotions, pay adjustments, and terminations.
- Review timecards and partner with payroll and operations to resolve timekeeping or pay discrepancies.
- Support benefits enrollment and respond to employee questions regarding available benefit programs.
- Coordinate FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers’ compensation, and other leave-of-absence processes in partnership with the appropriate HR resources.
- Maintain required documentation and assist with internal HR, I-9, and compliance audits.
- Monitor completion of mandatory training and support employee-development initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports and track open action items through resolution.
- Partner with temporary staffing agencies regarding headcount, attendance, conversions, employee concerns, and assignment endings.
- Promote positive employee relations and support engagement and retention initiatives.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and applicable employment requirements.
- Escalate significant employee-relations, compliance, safety, or legal concerns promptly.
- Perform additional HR projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Three or more years of HR Generalist experience.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Experience supporting employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, recruiting, onboarding, and leave administration.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to follow assignments through completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Experience using an HRIS and applicant-tracking system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- HR experience within warehousing, logistics, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or a similar operational environment.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or another recognized HR certification.
- Experience supporting workers’ compensation, FMLA, ADA accommodations, benefits, payroll, I-9 compliance, and safety initiatives.
Work Environment
This position supports a warehouse and office environment. The HR Generalist must be comfortable interacting regularly with employees and leaders on the warehouse floor. Occasional schedule flexibility may be required to support different shifts, employee meetings, investigations, or business needs.
