Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical examinations, physical assessments, and detailed patient history reviews to identify musculoskeletal conditions.
- Perform chiropractic adjustments using diversified techniques to address issues related to biomechanics, the musculoskeletal system, and pain management.
- Develop individualized care plans based on thorough patient diagnosis, integrating evidence-based practices and current medical terminology.
- Manage acute pain cases effectively through manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other pain medicine approaches.
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient information, treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up care.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies to promote active participation in their recovery process.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care and utilize medical imaging or diagnostics when necessary to inform treatment decisions.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and the musculoskeletal system essential for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
- Proficiency in chiropractic diversified technique along with manual therapy and trigger point therapy methods.
- Experience in patient observation, physical assessments, physical examinations, and musculoskeletal diagnostics to ensure precise diagnosis.
- Ability to develop effective care plans for patient rehabilitation and pain management based on evidence-based practice standards.
- Excellent client communication skills to explain diagnoses clearly and foster trust with diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare diagnosis procedures, and medical imaging techniques relevant to chiropractic practice.
- Competence in managing patient treatment planning for primary care cases including occupational health scenarios involving acute pain management.
