Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly.
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience.
- Manage cash handling with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end.
- Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure products are well-presented and accessible.
- Upsell related products or promotions to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining honest communication.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers over the phone.
- Support store operations by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards.
Experience
- Previous cashiering experience in retail or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
