Responsibilities:
Chasing Gravity is currently looking for a gymnastics coach for our growing Pre Team and Xcel programs.

You already have a love for gymnastics, and likely participated in the sport as an athlete yourself. You have a desire to not only teach growth but to also experience personal growth. You thrive in working in a team environment and love collaborating with other like-minded individuals. You enjoy being challenged as well as creating challenges for your athletes. You possess an astute eye for the details and thrive on organization and planning.
Additional desired skills include having the ability to hold an audience both with tiny humans, and those fully grown. You have Above-average ability to communicate detailed instructions through lesson planning. The drive to be a part of something new and exciting in a team setting is ideal for this position.
This is a part-time position. Hours are typically Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.

- Develop and implement training programs to enhance athletes' skills and performance.
- Teach proper techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for athletes to learn and grow.
- Conduct practice sessions and lead team meetings.
- Monitor and assess athletes' progress and provide feedback for improvement.
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among athletes.
- Ensure the safety of athletes during training sessions and competitions.
- Manage behavior and maintain discipline among athletes.
- Collaborate with other coaches, parents, and staff to coordinate events and competitions.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students or children in a coaching or teaching capacity is preferred.
- Knowledge of physical education principles and child development.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and staff.
- Ability to adapt coaching techniques to meet the needs of individual athletes.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for sports.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
