Marketing and Graphic Design Specialist
Shift: M-F 8:00am-4:30pm Status: Full-time
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for conceptualizing and producing a wide array of print and digital materials to support the strategic objectives of Jeske Hardware Distributors and Stone Harbor Hardware. Will work closely with the marketing team to develop materials for use in various channels (both print and digital) by performing the essential duties listed below.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Design, create and produce a wide array of print material, including product catalogs, brochures, sell sheets, promotional materials, product instructions/packaging, corporate event logos and materials, etc.
· Ensure all created materials align with company/brand standards
· Work with the marketing team to develop materials for use in various digital channels such as digital ads, website banners, etc.
· Collaborate with the marketing team and then develop content for company / brand social media channels
· Ability to think creatively to develop new materials and create new, innovative solutions
· Stay up to date on software, technology, and best practices needed to produce high-quality materials and results
· Assist with other marketing activities and projects as needed (trade show prep, prize fulfillment, promotions, etc.)
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
· Potential opportunities to travel to company events and trade shows
· All other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Associate’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or any related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
· 1 year experience in the marketing or graphic design field preferred
· Familiar with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
· Experience with HTML and creating email ad campaigns preferred
· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
· Working knowledge of AI tools to improve efficiency, support research, and streamline workflows, while maintaining original, human-created design and final creative output
· Innovative, creative thinker who likes finding solutions to various challenges
· Ability to have strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong communication via phone, email and in-person
· Able to multi-task and remain organized while adapting to the needs of the organization
· Ability to be flexible and manage several tasks at the same time to meet deadlines
· Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
· Must be a team player with a positive attitude
