Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate CNA's or Home Health Aides to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Alzheimer's Care
- Personal Care
- Must be 21 years of age or older

Skills training provided by Home Instead's RN
Requirements for the CNA/HHA/PCA position:
- Due to our insurance, you must be 21 years old or older to be employed with HISC-Tallahassee
- Must have a valid Florida CNA License and current CPR certification, HHA training done by our RN on staff
- TB test from within one year
- Complete a criminal background check through AHCA, DMV check and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Must be available to work 24-40+ hours per week. Overtime is available if able to work
As of 3-1-2026: Starting wages is $16.50-$18.00 an hour to start, Benefits include: Health, Dental & Vision Plans, Paid Training, Paid Time Off, 24/7 support!
