DUTIES-Assist the school nurse in providing screening to students according to state standards.Renders first aid to staff and students.Administers medication in accordance with district policy.Follows district policies and procedures for all health care provided.Attends meetings as directed by the school nurse.Performs clerical duties as directed by the school nurse.Communicate effectively with students, staff, agencies and community members.Immediately report accidents, assaults, destruction of property and abusive behavior.Report unauthorized persons and/or damage to appropriate authority as required.Attend District training as required.Support the value of education and the philosophy and mission of the District.
