Scheduler/Central Supply
POSITION PURPOSE:
Provides scheduling services for licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants for the facility per established staffing grids based on census.
Completes monthly nursing schedule and nursing breakdown to meet the established staffing patterns.
Assists the Director of Nursing in recruitment and hiring such as advertising, job fairs, hiring, etc.
Maintains holiday, vacation, and weekend lists, and maintains staffing within budgetary controls.
Fills open nursing slots as needed to maintain established nursing staffing patterns.
May update and maintain resident listing for in-house dental, eye, and audiology visits.
Any other duties deemed necessary by the Department Head.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited nursing assistant program required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One year of long-term or sub-acute care experience preferred.
