Responsibilities
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Perform minor mechanical repairs including engine diagnostics, belt replacements, and electrical system checks.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose automotive issues using diagnostic equipment and determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform wheel alignments, tire services, and other automotive repair procedures to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Assist with heavy lifting and mechanical repairs that require physical strength and proper safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed and communicate clearly with team members regarding vehicle status.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred.
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and automotive diagnostics tools.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment.
- Knowledge of automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, tire service, and basic mechanical repairs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality work standards.
