We are seeking a talented and energetic Manicurist and Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and advanced nail treatments, while creating a welcoming environment for clients. Duties
- Perform professional manicure and pedicure services, including shaping, polishing, cuticle care, and nail enhancements such as gel or acrylic nails
- Provide advanced nail treatments like nail art, color theory consultations, and special designs to meet client preferences
- Ensure all tools and workstations are thoroughly sanitized following disinfection procedures and sanitation standards to maintain a safe environment
- Assist clients with selecting nail colors and products, upselling retail items such as nail care products or beauty accessories to enhance their experience
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, or esthetic laser treatments when qualified
- Maintain detailed records of client preferences and service history for personalized future appointments
- Stay current with industry trends in nail art, color theory, and new techniques to provide innovative services that delight clients
Skills
- Strong knowledge of color theory for creating visually appealing nail designs and art
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
- Experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in nail care techniques and esthetic treatments
- Solid understanding of sanitation practices, disinfection procedures, and safety standards within a salon environment
- Proficiency in cosmetology practices including hair threading, body waxing, hair styling, barbering, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments (nice-to-have)
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a focus on client needs
- Retail math skills for managing product inventory and sales transactions accurately
- Knowledge of hair extensions and eyelash extensions application (preferred)
- Strong communication skills to explain procedures clearly and ensure client satisfaction
