Senior Civil Engineer
Cooper Engineering Company, Inc., an employee-owned civil engineering firm in Rice Lake, WI, is currently seeking motivated Civil Engineers, with a structural emphasis and those with expertise in municipal engineering and stormwater monitoring. Successful applicants will work alongside our experienced team members to complete engineering design and construction projects primarily throughout northwestern Wisconsin and occasionally nearby states.
Rice Lake is a vibrant rural community located in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, offering four seasons of woods and water opportunities to outdoor enthusiasts, a growing regional medical hub, two public colleges, and surprising opportunities in the arts.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil or Structural engineering from an accredited college or university, at
- Registered Professional Civil or Structural Engineer with 10+ years’ experience
- Skills required include AutoCAD (Civil 3D a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with stormwater modeling for municipal engineering position
- Strong knowledge of structural/municipal engineering
- Knowledge of producing quality construction plans
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of codes and related industry standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan and deliver effective oral and written presentations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong sense of integrity and goal setting, a cooperative attitude, and an on-going desire to learn and help clients.
- Valid driver’s licenseIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
