We are looking for an experienced Production QC Technician to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on, floor-based Quality position focused on ensuring products are manufactured and packaged correctly and in compliance with specifications, procedures, and cGMP requirements.
Perform line clearance and pre-production inspections.
Conduct in-process inspections throughout manufacturing and packaging.
Verify fill weights, volumes, counts, labels, lot numbers, expiration dates, and packaging components.
Review batch and packaging records for errors or missing information.
Collect raw material, in-process, bulk, and finished product samples.
Perform basic testing such as pH, specific gravity, and organoleptic evaluation.
Inspect production areas and equipment for compliance with procedures and cGMP requirements.
Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns.
Place materials or products on Quality Hold when appropriate.
Work with Production and Quality teams to troubleshoot issues and determine corrective actions.
Assist with deviations, nonconformances, investigations, CAPA, and finished product release activities.
Help identify recurring quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
What We're Looking For
Previous Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or comparable inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience performing and documenting inspections and following written specifications and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to confidently identify and communicate quality concerns.
Dietary supplement, nutraceutical, food/beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing experience.
Experience working under cGMP requirements.
Experience with liquid, powder, or topical manufacturing and packaging.
Familiarity with sampling, investigations, deviations, or CAPA.
Experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.
We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, curious, practical, and confident enough to speak up when something doesn't look right. You should be comfortable working closely with Production while maintaining consistent Quality standards.
This is an active manufacturing-floor position requiring the ability to:
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Move between manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, and Quality areas.
Shift between tasks and production priorities.
Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Wear required PPE and follow safety and hygiene requirements.
