Training Location (Until Mansfield Location Opening): Paris Baguette, Bellingham MA
Hours/Shifts: 5-6 days a week 8 hours/day Monday-Sunday, and as needed over holidays, weekends, and busy seasons

Compensation
- Starting Base Salary: Up to $85,000 annually plus performance bonuses
- Growth Opportunity: Elite performers may be eligible for advancement into District Manager or Regional Manager roles as we continue expanding throughout the Greater Boston market
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and hands-on General Manager (GM) to lead the founding team at Paris Baguette Mansfield.
The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of café operations, including food safety, team development, guest experience, financial performance, and operational excellence. The GM will recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing team of bakers, cake decorators, sandwich makers, baristas, and front-of-house staff while creating a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture.
The GM will be responsible for driving café profitability, managing labor and food costs, maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction, and ensuring consistent execution of Paris Baguette standards.
This position reports directly to ownership and will provide regular operational and financial reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
This role requires flexibility and a strong commitment to operational excellence. The General Manager must be willing and able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support bakery production and café operations.

What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of current experience as a General Manager within a leading café, bakery, quick-service restaurant (QSR), restaurant, or grocery foodservice operation
- Previous experience opening and successfully operating high-volume cafés or restaurants preferred
- Experience leading teams of 30–40+ employees across both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Proven ability to manage a full restaurant P&L, including labor scheduling, food cost management, inventory control, and financial performance
- Experience and ability in managing bakery or food production teams operating during overnight or early morning shifts
- Strong commitment to food safety, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence
- Comfortable utilizing POS systems, labor management tools, operational dashboards, and KPI reporting
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think and act like an owner while proactively identifying opportunities and solving challenges
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performing café team
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, hospitality, and operational excellence
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to all team members
- Conduct performance reviews, development planning, and disciplinary actions when necessary
- Lead regular management and staff meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and performance expectations
- Maintain high employee engagement and team morale
Operations Management
- Oversee all aspects of daily café operations, including food, beverage, bakery production, facilities, equipment, and guest experience
- Ensure compliance with all Paris Baguette operating standards and procedures
- Schedule, plan, and organize labor effectively to support business needs
- Monitor café appearance and facility conditions, ensuring issues are resolved promptly
- Manage multiple departments simultaneously while maintaining operational consistency
Financial Performance
- Drive café sales growth and profitability
- Develop and execute operational plans, budgets, and local marketing initiatives
- Control labor, food costs, waste, and operating expenses
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and P&L statements
- Analyze operational and financial variances and implement corrective actions
- Develop action plans that meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals
- Drive catering sales growth through effective sales initiatives and community outreach
Guest Experience
- Champion an exceptional guest experience at all times
- Ensure guest concerns are addressed professionally and resolved promptly
- Implement service recovery measures that create loyal, repeat customers
- Build strong relationships within the local community and with café guests
- Consistently deliver a superior food, beverage, and hospitality experience
Food Safety & Compliance
- Maintain full compliance with all applicable health, food safety, labor, and workplace safety regulations
- Ensure all employees are properly trained in food safety, sanitation, guest service, and company operating procedures
- Oversee all food safety programs and ensure adherence to ServSafe standards
- Create and maintain a culture where safety is always the top priority
Qualifications
- ServSafe Manager Certification (Required)
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
