We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation and ingredient handling as needed
- Handle manual lifting of food trays, supplies, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas by cleaning utensils, surfaces, and storage spaces regularly
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing purposes
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during busy service periods
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor in in-person customer interactions
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience with banquet service or culinary roles is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
