We are currently looking for a Certified Dietary Manager. The Certified Dietary Manager oversees and supervises all dietary functions. This includes supervision and scheduling of staff and assurance of proper diets/restrictions for residents. Ordering inventory and ensuring supplies are maintained in a sanitary environment.
Dietary Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the dietary department, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement nutrition care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Supervise staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills in dietary management.
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate dietary requirements and preferences.
- Manage budgeting and resources effectively to maintain quality food services.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and nutrition.
Qualifications of the Certified Dietary Manager:
- 1 year of experience as a Dietary Manager, required
- Certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM )or Food Service Manager (FSM), required
- Nursing home experience, preferred
