Job Overview
We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead our team in delivering awesome food across our 3 bars in a fast-paced & quick service kitchen. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and foster a positive team atmosphere. 40 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Supervise all kitchen activities, including food inventory, preparation, cooking, scheduling & training
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and staying organized
- Oversee food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen
- Lead staff training to ensure good customer service & operational efficiency
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling team members, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations
- Handle POS systems such as Toast POS and Sysco Ordering for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Support restaurant management efforts by assisting in daily specials, private events & more
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service settings.
- Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising or team management experience in a food industry environment.
- Experience with Toast POS system and Sysco Ordering System is a plus; experience with cash handling is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and health regulations.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on staff training & development and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes efficiently
