Previous automotive Retail sales experience strongly preferred
Currently, we are seeking Experienced Sales Consultants in our Kia of Wilmington showroom.

We receive hundreds of online car sales leads and calls per month, and we have no shortage of opportunities. We have better hours than many area competitors, and we offer a professional, performance-based work environment that is also positive, easy-going, and more welcoming than many other automotive retailers. We support our Sales Departments with a fully-staffed BDC, a great Pre-Owned Inventory, and a significant digital advertising presence. Further, we are in the process of expanding our Service facilities by investing in all-new Service & Parts buildings that are currently being built to accommodate our growing customer base.
Responsibilities
- Help clients with their buying decision
- Complete ongoing brand-specific sales and product training
- Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Continuously develop product and sales acumen; know the in’s and the out’s of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies.
- Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
- Follow-up with buyers to ensure successful transactions, referral business, and Positive CSI and Online Review Scores.
- Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.
- Report directly to the showroom Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
- Bring your ‘A game’ along with a positive attitude to work with you every single day.
Qualifications
- Must be extremely proficient with the use of a PC, and most computer programs
- Available to work flexible hours and weekends
- Ready to waste no time on learning new product in’s and out’s, eager to improve
- Great communication skills with customers and team members
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license that requires our insurance company approval
- Must be willing to submit to and pass a drug screen
- Benefits at 90 days; paid time off at 1 year
Schedule:
- Work 5 days per week, including each Saturday
- Work evenings with 1 early day, and 1 weekday off
- Attend 1 sales meeting per week
