About Club 7even
Club 7even is a new day-to-night hospitality concept launching in Venice Beach in August 2026.
During the day, Club 7even operates as a specialty coffee shop serving thoughtfully crafted coffee, matcha, tea, pastries, and breakfast dishes. In the evening, the space transforms into a non-alcoholic wine and mocktail bar offering elevated zero-proof beverages alongside a coastal Latin and Mediterranean-inspired food menu.
We are creating Venice’s neighborhood all-day café and evening gathering place—a space where guests can start their mornings, meet throughout the afternoon, and reconnect at night.
Our evening experience is designed to offer the creativity, presentation, hospitality, and social atmosphere of a cocktail bar without relying on alcohol. We do not simply serve drinks and food; we create memorable moments that make someone’s day.

Position Overview
Club 7even is seeking experienced bartenders and mixologists to join the opening team for our evening non-alcoholic wine and mocktail bar.
As a Club 7even bartender, you will prepare and serve elevated mocktails, zero-proof cocktails, non-alcoholic wines, botanical beverages, elixirs, and other creative menu offerings. You will help establish the tone of the evening experience through thoughtful service, polished presentation, strong product knowledge, and genuine guest engagement.
You may also assist with small plates, private events, brand activations, menu development, and community programming.
This position is ideal for someone who understands traditional cocktail techniques but is excited to apply that knowledge to a creative, alcohol-free beverage program.
This role is primarily focused on evening service. Select team members may have the opportunity to cross-train in specialty coffee and daytime café operations based on interest, performance, experience, and business needs.

Final compensation may vary depending on experience, availability, and assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications
- At least two years of bartending, mixology, beverage-service, or comparable restaurant experience.
- Strong understanding of cocktail-building techniques, flavor balance, dilution, texture, presentation, and garnishing.
- Experience creating or serving mocktails, zero-proof cocktails, non-alcoholic wines, botanical beverages, or craft sodas is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of traditional spirits, wines, cocktails, and bar techniques, even though Club 7even’s program is non-alcoholic.
- Interest in learning about non-alcoholic wine, zero-proof spirits, adaptogenic ingredients, teas, shrubs, syrups, infusions, and seasonal produce.
- Ability to prepare multiple beverages accurately and efficiently during high-volume service.
- Comfortable using shakers, mixing glasses, strainers, jiggers, bar spoons, knives, blenders, glassware, and other bar equipment.
- Ability to follow recipes, measurements, preparation methods, and presentation standards accurately and consistently.
- Strong communication, hospitality, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to engage guests, explain unfamiliar ingredients, and recommend drinks based on individual preferences.
- Ability to remain organized, composed, and welcoming in a fast-paced evening environment.
- Comfortable processing payments and completing basic cash and transaction calculations.
- Strong understanding of cleanliness, food safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage-service practices.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, late nights, weekends, holidays, private events, and brand activations.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to provide occasional coverage or assist with transporting supplies when needed.
- Must hold or obtain a valid California Food Handler Card before beginning work.
- Must meet all applicable age and legal requirements associated with the responsibilities of the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests and create a polished, social, and engaging evening atmosphere.
- Learn each guest’s preferences and provide thoughtful beverage and food recommendations.
- Educate guests about our mocktails, zero-proof spirits, non-alcoholic wines, specialty ingredients, and small-plate offerings.
- Accurately take orders and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
- Prepare mocktails, zero-proof cocktails, botanical drinks, elixirs, non-alcoholic wines, and other evening beverages according to Club 7even recipes.
- Use proper shaking, stirring, straining, building, garnishing, and presentation techniques.
- Maintain consistency in flavor, measurements, temperature, glassware, and presentation.
- Assist with preparing syrups, infusions, garnishes, juices, shrubs, teas, and other beverage components.
- Pour and serve non-alcoholic wine with product knowledge, care, and professionalism.
- Assist with serving and preparing small plates according to established recipes and food-safety procedures.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked bar throughout every shift.
- Restock glassware, ice, garnishes, ingredients, syrups, non-alcoholic wine, food items, and service supplies.
- Complete all assigned opening, shift-change, and closing responsibilities.
- Properly clean and maintain glassware, bar tools, blenders, refrigeration, ice equipment, and service areas.
- Assist with inventory counts, deliveries, storage, waste tracking, and supply organization.
- Support private events, community gatherings, pop-ups, and brand activations.
- Communicate guest feedback, equipment concerns, inventory shortages, and operational needs to management.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal drinks, new menu offerings, service improvements, and guest experiences.
- Assist with capturing appropriate social-media content during slower periods when assigned.
- Help transition the space from daytime café service into the evening bar experience.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary, café, and management teams to provide consistent hospitality.
