Big Pine Insurance Agency is seeking a dependable and organized Operations & Marketing Assistant to help support agency operations, marketing activities, and client service workflows. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, technology, customer service, and helping a small business grow. No prior insurance experience is required, but candidates should be comfortable learning new systems and following established processes.
We are looking for someone who values reliability, follow-through, and long-term growth within a small business environment.
Schedule
- Approximately 10-20 hours per week
- Primarily remote position
- Occasional meetings and training sessions in our Provo office
- Flexible scheduling available
Compensation
- $15-$18 per hour depending on experience
- Potential performance-based bonuses
- W2 employee position
Agency Operations
- Monitor and track client service requests
- Coordinate service requests with insurance company service centers
- Follow up on open client requests and ensure timely completion
- Maintain accurate records in EZLynx
- Request and track client signatures and documentation
- Organize agency files and workflows
Marketing & Growth Support
- Publish blog content and website updates
- Manage social media scheduling and posting
- Create Google Business Profile updates
- Assist with email marketing campaigns
- Support retention and cross-sell campaigns in EZLynx and Agency IQ

Licensing Opportunity
Active Utah Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred but not required. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing to obtain a Utah Property & Casualty Insurance License within the first 90 days of employment. The agency will provide guidance and support during the licensing process.
Licensing & Compliance
This position primarily performs administrative, marketing, workflow coordination, and customer support functions. Insurance recommendations, coverage discussions, quoting, policy placement, binding, and sales activities are handled by licensed insurance producers. Employees hired without a license are expected to obtain a Utah Property & Casualty License within 90 days of employment.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
