Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of living or working spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain impeccable hygiene standards
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through carpet cleaning, floor care techniques, and appropriate custodial practices
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to promote a healthy environment for residents or guests
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing requests promptly and courteously while maintaining professionalism
- Manage residential or commercial cleaning tasks independently or as part of a team, including janitorial responsibilities when needed
- Assist with housekeeping management duties such as inventory control of supplies and scheduling cleaning routines
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential, hotel, or commercial settings is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with laundry operations and handling delicate fabrics is advantageous
- Experience in hospitality environments or housekeeper management roles will be considered a strong asset
- Knowledge of safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage is essential
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude
