Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and dedicated In Home Caregivers/CNA (Certified Nursing Assistants) to join our team! In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional personal care and support to clients across various settings, including private homes, assisted living facilities, and memory care units. Your compassionate approach will help clients with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and cared for every day.
Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health status or behavior, documenting findings accurately in care plans
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being, especially for those with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment for residents
- Assist with transportation for appointments or errands using personal transportation assistance when needed
Experience
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and dementia or memory care is essential
- Knowledge of care plans, HIPAA regulations, and manual handling techniques such as patient transfers with Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods is required
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities will be considered an asset
- Certification as a CNA or equivalent healthcare qualification is necessary; CPR and first aid certifications are strongly recommended
- Familiarity with hospice care practices and neurodevelopmental disorders support will enhance your effectiveness in this role

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
