Duties
- Supervise and support home care staff to deliver exceptional personalized care aligned with individual care plans
- Oversee daily operations of home and community care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
- Develop, implement, and monitor resident care plans focused on Alzheimer’s, dementia, memory care, and developmental disabilities
- Manage medication administration processes accurately and safely in accordance with healthcare regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and social workers to optimize resident well-being and satisfaction
- Assist in budgeting, resource allocation, and maintaining financial records related to care services
- Lead staff training initiatives on assisted living best practices, safety procedures, and specialized dementia or Alzheimer’s care
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior or long-term care settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, retirement homes, or group homes
- Demonstrated supervisory or management experience within home & community care environments
- Strong knowledge of dementia care, memory support strategies, and developing individualized care plans
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and healthcare regulations governing home health services
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Background in social work or healthcare management with financial acumen for budgeting and resource planning
- Working experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex health needs is highly desirable
