Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented, systems-savvy E-Commerce & Inventory Specialist to own the intersection of our online storefront and inventory operations. This role is essential to TSL's growth and will work closely with our operations and administrative team to keep product data accurate, orders flowing smoothly, and our Shopify storefront running at a high level.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Manage day-to-day inventory operations in Acctivate, including product records, stock adjustments, purchase order tracking, and reconciliation
- Coordinate with internal team on inbound shipments, stock levels, reorder points, and demand planning
- Maintain accuracy across Acctivate and QuickBooks, supporting reconciliation and reporting
- Implement process improvements within inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Assist with Avalara sales tax compliance as needed
- Support physical inventory counts and audits
E-Commerce Operations
- Own and maintain the TSL Shopify storefront — product listings, descriptions, pricing, images, tags, and collections
- Process and monitor online orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment to maximize sales performance
- Troubleshoot order issues, customer-facing errors, and integration problems between Shopify and backend systems
- Support new product launches and catalog updates
- Support international sales logistics, including product availability and shipping options for global customers
Customer Service
- Serve as a primary point of contact for order inquiries, shipping questions, and post-purchase support
- Respond to customer communications in a timely, professional manner
- Resolve order discrepancies, returns, and fulfillment issues with a solutions-oriented approach
Systems & Reporting
- Maintain clean data across platforms (Acctivate, Shopify, QuickBooks)
- Pull and organize inventory and sales reports to support operations and leadership decisions
- Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience with Acctivate inventory management software
- Experience with Shopify (required) — admin-level comfort with products, orders, and settings
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or Avalara a strong plus
- Strong customer service skills and professional written communication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team environment
- Experience in industrial, safety, or technical products is a bonus but not required
