Primary Functions and Responsibilities

Understand and ensure excellent guest experience per the standards, policies and procedures set forth by the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.

Manage the guest experience inside the theater for all events in a welcoming and professional manner.

Enforce event and house policies, including but not limited to: camera and video recording, small children seating, electronic devices, food and beverages, late seating and crowd control, ensuring compliance with all guests.

Supervise assigned volunteer staff as directed by the house manager regarding event details, seating updates, house policies, emergency evacuation procedures and program distribution.

Communicate with the house manager as needed to maintain an environment conducive to a successful event.

Assist the house manager in maintaining and executing event duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to evacuation and shelter in place scenarios.

Maintain a safe environment and address concerns appropriately, including but not limited to:
- Assisting challenging guests

Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed

Keeping a clean workspace and surrounding area throughout shift
- Provide accessibility assistance to patrons as needed.

Communicate using a radio with staff and supervisors in accordance with the Center’s standards.

Complete event summary and incident reports and forms as required.

Adhere to the dress code at all times throughout shift. Ensure volunteer staff properly adhere to the dress code at all times throughout their shift.
Secondary Functions

Direct guests confidently throughout the front of house, including but not limited to: seating locations, event spaces, bathrooms and ADA services.

Engage guests actively to support Center initiatives, including but not limited to seasonal fundraising campaigns.

Attend Center trainings and meetings as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: 18 years old or older with management, customer service and/or theater/front of house experience.

Proficient in smart devices and apps to access and use platforms like GalaPro and Microsoft SharePoint

Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Must be able to lift, push and/or carry at least 50 pounds

Must be able to remain standing in a stationary position for the duration of an event
