Experienced Water Damage Restoration Technician – Top Pay + Lead Opportunities

We’re expanding and looking for an experienced restoration professional who can take the lead on projects, mentor newer techs, and represent our company in the field.
Position Summary
As an Experienced Water Damage Restoration Technician, you’ll be responsible for managing jobs from start to finish — including emergency response, extraction, equipment setup, moisture mapping, documentation, and customer communication. This is a career-track position with lead tech and project management opportunities for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform emergency water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification.
- Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, injectidry, etc.).
- Conduct moisture readings and mapping using meters and thermal cameras.
- Supervise crew members and subcontractors as needed.
- Complete job documentation using Encircle, DASH, MICA, or similar platforms.
- Communicate with customers, insurance adjusters, and project managers.
- Follow all IICRC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
- Perform demolition, cleaning, and restoration tasks as required.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in water/mold/fire restoration (WRT/ASD certification preferred).
- Knowledge of drying science, psychrometry, and building materials.
- Proficient in restoration software and job documentation.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, wet conditions).
- Positive, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.

Schedule
- Our location is a high volume shop, where we keep out techs busy, but try to strike the balance to not wear them out. Typical OT is between 7-10 hours per week with those who want more have opportunities to do so.
- Full-time, rotating on-call nights/weekends.
- Some travel for storm response (per diem + travel pay provided).
Compensation
- DOE + overtime + bonus pay for emergency response shifts.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
