BCBA Clinical Director
Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80918
The Clinical Director holds overall responsibility for clinical quality standards, BCBA oversight, and advisement to the CEO regarding clinical direction. This role oversees and directs the Center Directors at each location and in-home services to ensure effective implementation of ABA services, an exceptional client and family experience, and the competence and excellence of staff delivering those services. The Clinical Director fosters an atmosphere and culture for clients, families, and staff that embraces the principles of Keystone Achievements, including trauma-informed care, compassion, and wellbeing.
- Current BCBA certification in good standing.
- Extensive experience in ABA clinical leadership.
- Minimum six years post-BCBA certification, with 8-hour supervision requirements completed.
- At least five years of experience working with individuals (ages 2-20) with developmental disabilities, ASD, or other diagnoses with behavioral symptoms, post-BCBA certification. The additional year post-BCBA certification may have been spent gaining experience in OBM or other management positions.
- At least four years of experience in a center environment, post-BCBA certification.
- Extensive experience in behavioral assessment, including use of protocol-based measures and establishing positive rapport with families.
- Experience creating treatment plans with excellence in application of best practices and thoughtful planning for parent involvement and generalization.
- Experience completing authorizations in a timely manner, with attention to detail for industry standards.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills that maintain Keystone’s culture of teamwork, staff development, quality of services, and family engagement.
- Demonstrates leadership, integrity, and clinical skills consistent with Keystone’s clinical approach.
- Maintain a communicative and collaborative relationship with the CEO and other members of the upper management team.
- Act as direct supervisor to the Center Directors.
- Continuously evolve clinical standards and expectations.
- Responsible for clinical controls, compliance, and oversight.

- Meet or exceed performance metrics developed in collaboration with the leadership team, including but not limited to impact hours per BCBA, on-time reauthorization treatment plans, consistent parent meetings, and supervision of therapists, with support from the Center Directors.
- Develop and mentor leadership staff.
- Communicate company updates and center objectives through regular meetings.
- Ensure new clinical leadership staff receive adequate training, understand their job responsibilities, and are trained in how to carry out their responsibilities.
- Mentor new BCBAs.
- Assist with complex client cases.
- Lead and ensure quality of the Student Analyst training experience.
- Maintain open communication and transparency with families.
- Engage families with compassion and reconcile any parent concerns, with open communication and assistance from the CEO.
- Conduct interviews of BCBAs considered for employment.
- Manage a caseload of up to three students.
- Uphold daily clinical practices to meet expectations of:
- Punctual SOAP note completion.
- Timely program modifications.
- Punctual authorization completion.
- Meeting impact hour requirements.
- Meeting monthly or weekly parent meeting requirements.
- Policy enforcement with expectations of Center Directors taking direct lead (e.g., evaluation of BTs for clinical performance, oversight of attendance, illness policy, etc.).
- Maintain positive reinforcement systems for all staff.
- Oversight and enforcement of policies for Day Treatment Licensing compliance (e.g., meeting notes, progress reports, parent meetings, timely repairs, fire drills, etc.).
