Eastman Companies, a long-standing landlord and developer in New Jersey, is looking for that person who wants to join a long-standing Property Management team (44 years). The well-run properties are mostly in a 5-mile radius.
We are looking for person to run HVAC repair and maintenance program in numerous Commercial/Retail properties. Duties will also include doing various electrical tasks and repairs. Individual must have strong communications skills and be willing to work the numerous trades and professions related to property management.
Key Responsibilities
- Surveying buildings and systems to identify any issues
- Implement preventative maintenance procedures.
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
- Work with HVAC personnel and other Technicians to manage heating and plumbing systems
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Performing maintenance of electrical systems
- Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned
- Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
- Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
- Be available for on call emergencies (nights and weekends) and live in close proximity to Livingston, NJ on rotating schedule
- Computer literate and have strong organizational skills.
- Assist on construction projects when necessary.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining an exceptional relationship with tenants.
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent education.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools.
- Clean driving record
- Ability and condition to climb ladders
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment
