Job Summary
We're looking for an organized, dependable Office Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. This role blends front-desk administration, light logistics coordination, and direct support for adults living with mental illness. The ideal candidate brings sharp organizational skills along with genuine patience, empathy, and kindness — qualities that are essential to how we care for the people we serve.
Duties
- Greet visitors and manage front-desk operations with professional phone etiquette on multi-line systems
- Provide calm, compassionate, respectful support to clients in person and by phone, including adults living with mental illness
- Coordinate scheduling and dispatch logistics for an on-site vehicle rental service
- Maintain digital and paper filing systems
- Handle data entry and invoicing
- Manage calendars and appointment scheduling for staff
- Order supplies, coordinate maintenance, and support general office operations
- Proofread correspondence and documents for accuracy and tone
- Perform clerical tasks: scanning, copying, filing, and record organization
Qualifications
- Experience in office administration, clerical work, or customer service (healthcare or behavioral health setting a plus)
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a steady, kind demeanor when working with vulnerable populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong phone etiquette
- Comfortable balancing administrative duties with logistics/scheduling responsibilities
- Excellent typing, data entry, and proofreading skills
- Strong time management in a busy, multitasking environment
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,250.00 per month
